At the present time many people enjoy either watching dancing or performing beautiful dance movements themselves. There is a rich variety of dance styles and genres to choose from. One of the most popular modern genres of music and dance is funk. Funk as a music genre appeared in the middle of the 20th century in the United States due to African American musicians who created this new style by mixing jazz, soul and R&B.
